Lovely site, Jo. Simple and elegant like its owner. And what a wealth of experience it illustrates! I remember working with you both in the office at Canadian Living and on freelance stories. I always thought you were concise in your suggestions, profound in your understanding and heartfelt in your appreciation. Best of luck in your new career wherever it takes you!
Really like your site, absolutely perfect for what you do. I like the subtle embossing in the header, text on the page, thumbnails in the sidebar… works for me… Very easy to navigate.
Just thought I’d thank you Jo for my wonderful garden. You’re attention to detail and clear understanding of how it will look has provided me with a place to enjoy, to flourish and frolic in.
I can enjoy the new colours of spring. I can surround myself in the lushness and beauty of summer while exploring and savoring the native meadowland and burgeoning forest. The autumn provides me with the warm falling colours and the succulent orchidian (a word to ponder) bounty. The winter, I’m sure, will provide new garden experiences and sensations, the lack of green will be replaced with the high-contrast stark blue-greys and the whites of cold.
So thanks Jo for my outside, my space to grow among the growing.
